Wellcome to Tauèrnes Urtau
Since 1963, we opened our first store in the town of Arties (in the Aran Valley), the first generation of the family, has decided that quality should be the main focus of your small town tabern. Following always this aim, we begin offering our typical tapas: tripe, snails, squid, pork feet, and so on.
In 1990 we began to incorporate the skewers (pintxos) to our offer on a complementary manner, as well as tables of sausages. However, what began as a complementary product became the most important product of our offer. Nowadays you can find more than 70 different pintxos.
We are currently present in Arties, Bossòst, Vielha (in the Aran Valley) and Palamos (Girona).
